What is Love

Love is when Khadijah (radi Allahu anha) spent her entire wealth on this Deen for the Man she loved.

Love is when the Prophet (sal Allahu Alayhi wa sallam) took the glass that Ayesha (radiAllahu anha) drank from and put his lips on the exact place she put her’s and then drank.

Love is when the Prophet (sal Allahu alayhi wa sallam) had a race with Ayesha (radi Allahu anha) and joked with her when she lost.

Love is when Zainab (radi Allahu anha) would sacrifice her most prized possession, her everything for her husband.

Real Love is not based on romance, candle light dinners and walks along the beach rather it is based On respect, compromise, care and trust.

Beautiful Story....Allah knows what He’s doing (for all of us)

There was a couple who used to go shopping in beautiful stores. They both liked antiques and pottery, especially teacups. One day in a shop they saw a beautiful teacup.
They said, “May we see that? We’ve never seen one quite so beautiful.” As the storekeeper handed it to them, suddenly the teacup spoke.
“You don’t understand,” it said. “I haven’t always been a teacup. There was a time when I was red and I was clay.” My master took me and rolled me and patted me over and over and I yelled out, “let me alone”, but he only smiled, “Not yet.”
“Then I was placed on a spinning wheel,” the teacup said, “and suddenly I was spun around and around. Stop it! I’m getting dizzy!” I screamed. But my master only nodded and said, ‘Not yet.”
Then he put me in the oven. I never felt such heat. I wondered why he wanted to burn me, and I yelled and knocked at the door. I could see him through the opening and I could read his lips as He shook his head, “Not yet.”
Finally the door opened, he put me on the shelf, and I began to cool. “There, that’s better,” I said. And he brushed and painted me all over. The fumes were horrible. I thought I would gag. ”Stop it, stop it!” I cried. He only nodded,”Not yet.”
Then I knew there wasn’t any hope. I would never make it. I was ready to give up. But the door opened and he took me out and placed me on the shelf.
One hour later he handed me a mirror and said, “Look at yourself.” And I did. I said,”That’s not me; that couldn’t be me. It’s beautiful. I’m beautiful.”
Then my Master said to me, “I know it hurts to be rolled and patted, but if I had left you alone, you’d have dried up. I know it made you dizzy to spin around on the wheel, but if I had stopped, you would have crumbled.
I knew it hurt and was hot and disagreeable in the oven, but if I hadn’t put you there, you would have cracked. I know the fumes were bad when I brushed and painted you all over, but if I hadn’t done that, you never would have hardened;you would not have had any color in your life.
You are what I had in mind when I first began with you.”
Moral: Allah knows what He’s doing (for all of us).He is the all-Wise & all-Knowing.
He will mold us, by passing us through difficulties in life. So that we become better human beings and face the challenges of life with ease.

‎****** One Flaw in Women*******

Women have strengths that amaze men.

They bear hardships and they carry burdens,

But they hold happiness, love and joy.

They smile when they want to scream
They sing when they want to cry
They cry when they are happy
And laugh when they are nervous.
They fight for what they believe in
They stand up to injustice.

They don’t take ‘no’ for an answer
When they believe there is a better solution.
They go without so their family can have.
They go to the doctor with a frightened friend
They love unconditionally.
They cry when their children excel
And cheer when their friends get awards.

They are happy when they hear about
A birth or a wedding
Their hearts break when a friend dies.
They grieve at the loss of a family member.
Yet they are strong when they
Think there is no strength left
They know that a hug and a kiss
Can heal a broken heart.

Women come in all shapes, sizes and colors.
They’ll drive, fly, walk, run or email you
To show how much they care about you.

The heart of a woman is what
Makes the world keep turning

They bring joy, hope and love,
They have compassion and ideas
They give moral support to their
Family and friends.
Women have vital things to say
And everything to give

However, if there is on flaw in women,
It is that they forget their worth.

Story_Beautiful Women that wanted to get married

There was this beautiful woman, who wanted to get married, but she wanted a very pious husband, so she said that she’ll marry the man who recites the whole Quran every single day, fasts for the whole year and stays awake and worships Allah all throughout the night.

She was a very beautiful woman, and a lot of suitors wanted to marry her, but they knew they couldn’t fulfil the conditions she set. Until this one man stepped forward and said he could fulfil them. So the Imam got both of them married.
After the first night of the marriage, the wife sees that the husband doesn’t recite the whole of the Quran, nor does he fast, nor does he stay awake in the worship of Allah, she decided to let it roll on for a few weeks to see if there were any changes, there weren’t, so she filed a complaint and asked for a divorce.
They are both taken in front of the judge, and the judge asked, ‘What were the conditions of the marriage?’ the man replied ‘They were for me to recite the whole Quran daily, keep fast for the whole year and to worship Allah all throughout the night.’
The Judge asked, ‘ did you fulfil them? The man calmly answered, ‘…yes.’
The judge answers, ‘you lie, your wife has said that you don’t, that’s why she’s asking for a divorce’.
But the man insisted that he had fulfilled the conditions, so the judge asked, ‘did you recite the full Quran everyday?’ The man answered yes. The Judge, baffled asked, ‘how? How can you do that?’ The man coolly answered, ‘I recite Surah Ikhlas three times a day and according to Prophet Muhammad (saw), reciting Surah Ikhlas three times is equivalent to reciting the whole Quran.’ The Judge was intrigued, so he asked, ‘how did you fast the whole year?’ The man answered, ‘ I fasted for the whole month of Ramadan, then kept another six fasts in the month of Shawwal, according to Prophet Muhammad (saw), keeping all of the fast of Ramadan then keeping six fasts in the month of Shawwal, is as if you have fasted for the whole year.’
The Judge remained silent, he couldn’t give a reply saying the man was wrong, so finally he asked, ‘ how did you stay awake all night and worship Allah, when your wife saw you sleeping?’ The Judge thought the man wouldn’t be able to answer this one, but the man, cool as a cucumber answered, ‘I prayed Salatul Isha with jamaat, then the next day prayed Salatul Fajr with jamaat, according to Prophet Muhammad (saw), the one who prays Salatul Isha and Salatul Fajr with jamaat, it is as if he had stayed up all night worshipping Allah.’
The Judge sat there looking at the man; the final verdict was about to be released…
He said to the man and his wife, ‘…go, just go, there is nothing wrong with this marriage’…

Doa Siti Zulaikha

Tuhanku…
Seandainya telah Kau takdirkan
Dia milikku… tercipta buatku
Dekatkanlah hatinya dengan hatiku
Tetapkanlah kemesraan antara kami
Agar kebahagiaan ini kekal abadi
Dan Tuhanku
Seiringkanlah kami
Mengharungi hidup luas ini
Ke tepian yang sejahtera

Tetapi Tuhanku yang Maha Pengasih
Seandainya telah Kau takdirkan
Dia bukan milikku
Bawalah dia jauh dari pandanganku
Luput dari ingatanku
Dan peliharalah aku dari kecewa
Serta Tuhanku yang Maha Mengerti
Berilah aku kekuatan
Melontar bayangannya ke dada langit
Hilang bersama senja nan merah
Dan gelap pekat awan
Agar aku bisa bahagia
Walaupun tanpa dirinya
Dan Tuhanku yang Tercipta
Biarkanlah yang hilang
Tumbuhkanlah kembali yang telah patah
Meskipun tidak sama dengan dirinya
Biar sekuat mana aku menyintainya
Aku pohon agar Tuhanku
Melenyapkan perasan ini
Sekiranya dia bukan milikku
Tapi...Sekiranya dia milikku
Kupohon agar takdir
Memperkuatkan kasihku padanya
Selagi tidak melebihi
Kasihku padaMu

Selecting A Wife

A conditional choice

In Islam, a man is given some choice in regard to marriage. Allah (subhaanahu wa ta’aala) says:

“If you fear that you will not deal justly with the orphan girls, then marry whatever pleases you of (other) women: two, three or four. But if you fear that you will not be just (with them) then (marry) only one woman, or those that your right hands possess (of captives and slaves). That is better in preventing you from doing injustice.”

(Qur’aan 4: 3)

However, “whatever pleases you of women” is a general directive that is further clarified in many texts of the Qur’aan and Sunnah. There are certain important qualities that a man should seek in the woman whom he wants to be his life-partner and the mother of his children.

Here is The Correct Way to do Istikharah

Hadith - al-Tirmidhi # 2151. [Classed as saheeh by al-Haakim, 1/699, and al-Dhahabi agreed with him. It was classed as hasan by al-Haafiz ibn Hajar in Fath al-Baari, 11/184]

The happiness of the son of Adam depends on his being content with what Allah has decreed for him, and the misery of the son of Adam results from his failure to pray istikharah, and the misery of the son of Adam results from in his discontent with what Allah has decreed for him.

To make the prayer of Istikharah (say: iss-teh-KHAR-uh), one should pray two non-fard (non-obligatory) rakat (units) of prayer, even if they are of the regular sunnah prayers or a prayer for entering the mosque, and so on, during any time of the day or night.

One should recite in them whatever one wishes of the Qur'an, after reciting al-Fatihah. Then one should praise Allah and invoke blessings upon the Prophet, peace be upon him.

"Allahumma inni astakhiruka bi'ilmika. wa astaqdiruka bi-qudratika, wa as'aluka min fadlika al-azimfa-innaka taqdiru wala aqdiru, wa ta'lamu wala a ' lamu, wa anta 'allamu-l-ghuyub.

Allahumma, in kunta ta' lamu anna hadhaI-amra khairun lifi dini wa ma'ashi wa aqibati amri (or 'ajili amri wa'ajilihi) f aqdirhu li wa yas-sirhu li thumma barik li fihi, wa in kunta ta'llamu anna hadha-l-amra sharrun lifi dini wa ma'ashi wa-aqibati amri (orfi'ajili amri wa ajilihi) fasrifhu anni was-rifni'anhu.

Wa aqdir li al-khaira haithu kana thumma ardini bihi"

(O Allah ! I ask guidance from Your knowledge, and Power from Your Might and I ask for Your great blessings. You are capable and I am not. You know and I do not and You know the unseen. O Allah! If You know that this thing is good for my din and my subsistence and for my Hereafter - (or say, If it is better for my present and later needs) - then ordain it for me and make it easy for me to obtain, and then bless me in it. If You know that this thing is harmful to me in my din and subsistence and in the Hereafter--(or say, If it is worse for my present and later needs)--then keep it away from me, and keep me away from it. And ordain for me whatever is good for me, and make me satisfied with it)."'

The Prophet, may peace be upon him, added that then the person should mention his need."

There is nothing authentic concerning anything specific that is to be recited in the prayer nor is there any authentic report concerning how many times one should repeat it.

An-Nawawi holds that "after making istikharah, a person must do what he is wholeheartedly inclined to do and feels good about doing and should not insist on doing what he had desired to do before making the istikharah. And if his feelings change, he should leave what he had intended to do, for otherwise he is not leaving the choice to Allah, and would not be honest in seeking aid from Allah's power and knowledge. Sincerity in seeking Allah's choice, means that one should completely abandon what one desired oneself."

Surah Ghafir

39. "O my people! Truly, this life of the world is nothing but a (quick passing) enjoyment, and verily, the Hereafter that is the home that will remain forever."

Funny Story on Fasting...

Two Christians were lost in the Sahara desert. One is David, the other is Michael.

They were dying of hunger and thirst when they suddenly came upon an oasis, with what looked like an emirate with a mosque in the middle.

David said to Michael:... "Look, let's pretend we are Muslims, otherwise we'll not get any food or drink. I am going to call myself "Mohammed."

Micheal refused to change his name , he said:" My name is Michael , and I will not pretend to be other than but what I am....Michael."

The Imam of the mosque received both well and asked about their names . David said: "My name is Mohammed ."Michael said: "My name is Michael."

The Imam turned to the helpers of the mosque and said: "Please bring some food and water for Michael only ."

Then he turned to the other and said: "Well Mohammed I hope you are aware that we are still in the month of Ramadan.

Al Qadr

In the last 10 days of Ramadaan is the blessed night of Laylat al-Qadr (Night of Decree and Honour - sometimes incorrectly translated as 'Night of Power'), which every Muslim is encouraged to seek out because during this night the angels descend to earth with goodness, mercy and blessings. It is also well established that Laylat al-Qadr is an honoured night because it was the night on which the Qur'an was revealed.
"Verily, We have sent it (this Qur'an) down in the Night of Al Qadr. And what will make you know what the Night of Al Qadr is? The Night of Al Qadr is better than a thousand months (i.e. worshipping Allah in that night is better than worshipping Him a thousand months, i.e. 83 years and 4 months). Therein descend the angels and the Rooh [Jibreel (Gabriel)] by Allah's Permission with all Decrees, (All that night), there is peace (and goodness from Allah to His believing slaves) until the appearance of dawn"
(Qur'an - 97:1-5)
Waathilah ibn al-Asqa' said: The Messenger of Allah (PBUH) said: "The Scriptures of Ibraaheem (Abraham) were sent down on the first of the month of Ramadaan. The Tawraat (Torah) was sent down on the sixth of Ramadaan. The Injeel (Gospel) was sent down on the thirteenth of Ramadaan. The Zaboor (Pslams) was sent down on the eighteenth of Ramadaan, and the Qur'an was sent down on the twenty-fourth of Ramadaan."
(Hadith - Ahmad and al-Tabaraani)
Abu Hurayrah said: "The Messenger of Allah (PBUH) said: 'There has come to you Ramadaan, a blessed month. Allah has made it obligatory on you to fast (this month). During it the gates of Paradise are opened and the gates of Hell are locked, and the devils are chained up. In it there is a night that is better than a thousand months, and whoever is deprived of its goodness is deprived indeed.'"
(Hadith - al-Nisaa'i)

It was the practice of Prophet Muhammad (PBUH) to strive during the last 10 days of Ramadaan like no other time, to spend the night in prayer, supplication and recitation of the Qur'an. He also used to wake his family up to do the same.
Abu Hurayrah said that the Prophet (PBUH) said: "Whoever stays up and prays on Laylat al-Qadr out of faith and in the hope of reward, his previous sins will be forgiven."
(Hadith - Bukhari & Muslim)

Thus, the Muslim should make good use of the last 10 nights of Ramadaan and spend them in prayer and remembering Allah. We do not know for certain which night Laylat al-Qadr is, but the odd-numbered nights in the last 10 days are the most likely according to the hadith:
"Seek it in the odd nights of the last third of Ramadan."
(Hadith - Bukhari)
The night of the 27th of Ramadaan (i.e. the night before the fast of the day of the 27th of Ramadaan) has been narrated as being Laylat al-Qadr.
Zurr ibn Hubaysh said: "I heard Ubayy ibn Ka'b saying - and it was said to him that 'Abd-Allaah ibn Mas'ood said: 'Whoever follows the Sunnah will 'catch' Laylat al-Qadr!' - Ubayy said: 'May Allah have mercy on him, he did not want people to take it for granted and only stay up to pray on one night. By the One besides Whom there is no other god, it is in Ramadaan - he was swearing without a doubt - and by Allah, I do know which night it is. It is the night in which the Messenger of Allah (PBUH) commanded us to pray (qiyaam). It is the night the morning of which is the twenty seventh, and the sign of it is that the sun rises on that morning white and without rays.'"
(Hadith - Muslim and others)

However, the timing of the night Laylat al-Qadr has not been narrated with certainty, and its timing may not be the same every year. The wisdom in this is that the Muslims will be more inclined to devote themselves in worship during the whole last 10 days, rather just on one night, as would be the case if its timing were known for certain.

With regard to what the Muslim should do on Laylat al-Qadr to gain benefit from it, aside from praying, reading Qur'an and making general du'aa' (supplication), there is a specific du'aa' that may be recited:
'Aa'ishah said: "I said, 'O Messenger of Allah, if I know which night is Laylat al-Qadr, what should I say on that night?' He said, 'Say: Allahumma innaka 'afuwwun tuhibb al-'afwa fa'affu 'anni (O Allah, You are forgiving and You love forgiveness, so forgive me)."
(Hadith - al-Tirmidhi)
Even for menstruating women, they can recite this du'aa' and others, read Qur'an from memory (without touching the book itself) and like everyone they can seek forgiveness (by saying "Astaghfir-Allah" - I ask Allah for forgiveness), make dhikr (remembrance of Allah) by repeating phrases such as:
Subhaan-Allah (Glory be to Allah)
La ilaaha illa-Allah (There is no god but Allah)
Al-Hamdu Lillah (Praise be to Allah)
Allahu akbar (Allah is Most Great)
Subhaan-Allah wa'l-hamdu Lillah, wa laa ilaaha ill-Allah, wa Allahu akbar (Glory be to Allah, praise be to Allah, there is no god but Allah and Allah is Most Great)"
Subhaan Allah wa bi hamdihi, subhaan Allah il-'Azeem (Glory and praise be to Allah, glory be to Allah the Almighty)

In this way, no one will be deprived of the blessing of Laylat al-Qadr.

Hamesha & Forever...

Hum hanse toh hansa
Haule se tera sara jahaan
Tu agar hai yahaan
Toh hai yeh agan bhi gulistaan

Pyaar main de na paaya utna tujhe
Jitna tera haqq tha
Thi yeh khata par hoti gayi
Mera kahaan mujh pe bas tha

Aansun tere ban jaayein mere
Kaise banoon teri ab dawa

Yaad mein itna rakhna ke na hon faasle
Rehna lag ke tum gale

Batla doongi main raasta
Jab hongi raaste mein mushkilein

Akhiyon se keh do roye na
Inn aankhon mein bas khushiyan hi khilein

Hamesha & forever
Jab tak saanson ka saath hai
Hamesha & forever
Jab tak taaron ki raat hai

Hamesha & forever
Tab tak teri hi baat hai
Hamesha & forever
Dil mein tu

Whenever I laughed,
Your whole world laughed
If you are here,
Even this fire is garden

I couldn't give you as much is your right In love
It was a mistake,
but still it happened
For I had no control over myself

Your tears should be mine
How can I become a remedy for you?

Keep me in your memories such that there is no distance
Remain in my embrace
I shall guide you
Whenever there will be difficulties on the path

Ask the eyes not to cry
Only happiness should blossom in these eyes

Forever,
As long as I have company of my breath
Forever,
As long as there is starry night

Forever,
Till then,
your talk
And you will be in my heart

Beautiful Story (10)...Maymunah as-Sawda'

Name: Maymunah as-Sawda'
Status: Successor (Tabi'iyyah)
Location: Kufah , Iraq

al-Fudayl bin 'Iyad narrated:
'Abdul-Wahid bin Zayd said: "I asked Allah - the Mighty and Majestic - for three nights in a row to show me my future companion in Paradise in a dream, so in my dream, I heard a caller saying: "O 'Abdul-Wahid! Your companion in Paradise is Maymunah as-Sawda'." So, I asked: "And where is she now?" The voice replied: "She is among such-and-such a tribe in Kufah."
So, I went out to Kufah and asked about her, so I was told: "She is among us, and she takes care of the livestock." So, I said: "I wish to see her." I was taken to the place where she was, and found her standing in prayer with a walking stick to support her. She was wearing a wool cloak, with a sign written on it that said: "Not to be bought or sold." ِAlso, the sheep that she was supposed to be caring for were surrounded by wolves. However, the wolves were not trying to attack the sheep, and the sheep were not afraid of the wolves.
When she saw me, she ended her prayer and said to me: "Go back, Ibn Zayd. Our meeting place is not here. Rather, it is later on (in the Hereafter)."
I said to her: "May Allah have Mercy upon you! Who told you that I am Ibn Zayd?"
She said: "I know that the souls are like a unified army, so the souls that go together are one, and the souls that differ from each other are divided."
I said to her: "Advise me."
She said: "Strange! An admonisher who wishes to be admonished? O Ibn Zayd, it has been related to me that a servant is not given anything of this worldly life and wished for more of it, except that Allah ceases to allow that servant to love Him and desire Him, and He exchanges the closeness that he had with Him for distance..." Then she recited:
O admonisher! The accounting has begun * To drive the people away from sin
You forbid others while you are the one who is truly ill * This is indeed a strange evil
If you had rectified yourself beforehand * Your mistakes and repented recently
Then - my dear - what you you said * Would have had a position of truth in the heart
You warn against temptation and excess * While you yourself are in a state of doubt"
I then said to her: "I see these wolves with the sheep, but the sheep do not run away from the wolves, and the wolves do not try to eat the sheep! What is this?"
She said: "This is a sign to you from me: since I made peace between my Master and I, He made peace between the wolves and the sheep."

Beautiful Story (9)...The Pious Man and The Shopkeeper

There lived a pious man all by himself, who spent most of his time in praying, fasting and praising Allah. Almost all his waking hours were utilised in meditation and devotions. He was very happy with his spiritual progress. No wicked thoughts came to his mind and no evil temptations entered his heart.

One night, he dreamt a rather disturbing dream. He saw that a shopkeeper in the town was far superior to him in spirituality and that he must go to him to learn the basics of true spiritual life.

In the morning, the pious man went in search of the shopkeeper. He found him busy with his customers, selling goods and collecting money with a cheerful face. He sat there in a corner of the shop and watched the shopkeeper carefully. No signs of any spiritual life at all, he said to himself. His dream could not be true. But then he saw the shopkeeper disappear to pray his Salah. When he returned, he was busy dealing with money matters again.

The shopkeeper noticed the pious man sitting in the corner and asked: "As Salamu Alaikum, would you like something, brother?"

"Wa Alaikum As Salam. Oh! No! No!" said the pious man. "I don't want to buy anything, but I want to ask you a question." He then related his dream.

"Well, that is very simple to explain," said the shopkeeper, "but you will have to do something for me before I answer your question."

"I will do anything for you," replied the pious man.

"All right! Take this saucer; there is some mercury in it. Go to the other end of the street and come back fast within half an hour. If the mercury falls out of the saucer, you will hear nothing from me. There you go now."

The pious man took the saucer and started running. The mercury nearly wobbled out of the saucer. He saved it just in time, and slowed down. Then he remembered he had to return within half an hour, so he started walking at a fast pace. At long last he returned puffing and panting. "Here is your mercury, safe and sound," he told the shopkeeper. "Now tell me the true interpretation of my dream."

The shopkeeper looked at the pious man's weary condition and asked him: "Well, friend, how many times did you remember Allah while you were going from this end of the street to the other?"

"Remember Allah!" exclaimed the pious man. "I did not remember Him at all. I was so worried about the mercury in the saucer."

"But I do remember Him all the time," said the shopkeeper. "When I am doing my business, I am also carrying mercury in a saucer. I am fair, honest and kind to my customers. I never forget Allah Ta'ala in my dealings with other men."

"Men whom neither trade nor sale (business) diverts from the remembrance of Allaah (with heart and tongue) nor from performing As‑Salaah (Iqaamat‑as‑Salaah) nor from giving the Zakaah. They fear a Day when hearts and eyes will be overturned (out of the horror of the torment of the Day of Resurrection). That Allaah may reward them according to the best of their deeds, and add even more for them out of His Grace. And Allaah provides without measure to whom He wills" [Al Quran, Surah an-Noor 24:37-38]
