“If a person loves an attribute of Allah, this will help Allah to reach Allah. Allah is as-Sabur (the Patient), and there is none that is more patient and forebearing than Allah… Allah loves His attributes and characteristics, and Allah loves to see the effects of His attributes on His worshippers.
Allah is Beautiful, so Allah loves beauty;
Allah is Forgiving, so Allah loves forgiveness;
Allah is Forgiving, so Allah loves forgiveness;
Allah is Generous, so Allah loves generosity;
Allah is Knowing, so Allah loves the people of knowledge;
Allah is Strong, so Allah loves the strong believer more than the weak one;
Allah is Patient, so Allah loves the patient;
Allah is Grateful, so Allah loves those who give thanks."
