Beautiful Story (5)...How Poor We Are?

One day a rich father took his son on a trip.He wanted to show him how poor someone can be.They spent time on the farm of a poor family. On the way home, father asked, Did you see how poor they are? What did you learn.??

The son said. We have a pool, they have rivers. We have lanterns at night, they have stars. We buy food, they grow theirs. We have walls to protect us, they have friends. We have Encyclopædias, they have 'QURAN'.
Then he added: Thanks Dad for showing me how poor we are.

LESSON: It's not about money that makes us rich, it's about simplicity n having 'ALLAH' in our lives.

Hijab...

I walk on the street with my head held high; everyone turns to look
You eye me critically, wondering why I’m dressed like this.
This is my hijab, my life and what I depend on.

You don’t know a thing; you judge me from what you see.
Why don’t you look deep within and see the person I am?

I believe in my religion and I know my creator.
Why don’t you look around and observe your surroundings; after all there is no painting without its artist.

We see, smell and hear everything around us, but who gave us the ability to do so?
Open your eyes wide and see why I am draped in black from head to toe and still hold my head up high.

Kalam (3)...

♦ When you see a person in a calamity of “material life”, be very happy at the status of your Iman.

♦ When you see a disbeliever, thank Allah for the status of your Islam.

♦ When you see a sinner, thank Allah for your taqwa and obedience to Him.

♦ When you see an ignorant person, thank Allah for the knowledge that He has given you.

♦ When you see someone in trial, thank Allah for the ability and tawfiq that He has granted you.

♦ The sun is created for you, enjoy the sunshine; the wind is created for you, enjoy the breeze; the river is created for you, enjoy drinking from it; trees are created for you, enjoy their shade and fruits.

♦ Whoever has a house might not have a car. Whoever has a wife might not have a job. And whoever has appetite to eat, might not have food. And whoever has food might not have the health and ability to eat. Just ponder!

♦ Today we can, tomorrow we can’t; today you have a chance, tomorrow you won’t; today you are alive, tomorrow you will be dead. Time of departure is unknown, but it will come for sure, whether you like it or don’t; whether you believe or you don’t, whether you are ready or not.

Beautiful Story (4)...Story on Are You Foolish?

There lived in a town a very rich man, who was given every comfort and luxury by ALLAH. He had a servant who was slightly foolish. One day the rich man called him and presented him with a gift saying: “Keep this in a safe place until you find someone more foolish than yourself. When you do, give it to Him.”
The servant replied: “Very good, Sir!”
After some time, the rich man became very ill. Many doctors treated him but there was no sign of recovery. He finally lost hope and called for his servant and said to Him: “I am leaving now. If I have caused you any grief, please forgive me.”
Servant: “Sir, where are you going?”
Rich Man: “Where everyone has to go.”
Servant: “When wil you return?”
Rich Man: “I am going to a place from where there is no return.”
Servant: “I see…Have you made your preparations for your comfort there, sir?”
Rich Man: “No.”
Servant: “Sir, have you made arangements to safeguard yourself from heat and cold?”
Rich Man: “No.”
Servant: “What have you done about your food and drink, sir?”
RichMan: “Nothing.”
Hearing this, the servant laughed and said: “Sir, this is most surprising. In your temporary home, you have made all sorts of arrangements of joy and comfort; buildings and bungalows, gardens and parks, servants and maids, beautiful cars, shops, factories and all sorts of luxuries, but for your permanent home, you have made no preparations whatsoever. Now tell me sir! Where will I find someone more foolish than you? Hence I am giving this gift to you.”

The moral of the story is that we should take time out and review frequently whether our actions are solely for the life of this world or for the eternal life in the hereafter.

Beautiful Story (3)...Story on The Virtues of Seeking Forgiveness From ALLAH

Three men came to Husain bin Ali (R.A); the first complained about a paucity of rain, and Husain answered, "Increase in seeking forgiveness from ALLAH." The second complained of being barren and not having children. Husain said, "Increase in seeking forgiveness from ALLAH." The third man complained about arid conditions and a lack of fertile soil, and Husai (R.A) said, "Increase in seeking forgiveness from ALLAH." Those seated with him said, "O son of the messenger of ALLAH (i.e., grandson): each one of these three had a different complain, yet you gave them the same answer." He asked him whether he had not read the Saying of ALLAH (the Exalted);

"Ask forgiveness from your LORD, verily, HE is oft-Forgiving; He will send rain to you in abundance; and give you increase in wealth and children, andbestow on you gardens and bestow on your rivers." (Quran 71:11)

The People Who Succeed...

Allah Says in Glorious Quran in Chapter 3 سُوۡرَةُ آل عِمرَان In Verse 104:

In Urdu:

اوراچھے کاموں کا حکم کرتی رہے اور برے کاموں سے روکتی رہے اور وہی لوگ
نجات پانے والے ہیں

English Translation:
Let there arise
out of you a band of people inviting to all that is good, enjoining what
is right, and forbidding what is wrong; they are the ones to attain
felicity.

enjoining Al-Ma'rûf (i.e. Islâmic Monotheism and all that Islâm orders
one to do) and forbidding Al-Munkar (polytheism and disbelief and all
that Islâm has forbidden). And it is they who are the successful.

ALLAH... How can I not love YOU??

Today, YOU give me another day to live, so I still have one more day a 'Chance' to 'Change' myself to be a better Muslim, to obey YOU.. to walk on Your Right Path.. the Only Right Path.

When ALLAH loves someone...

The signs of Allah's love for a person are as follows:-

1. When Allah loves someone he puts them under trials ( the more righteous they are, the harder the trials) in order to purify them.

2. When Allah loves someone, he gives them the "understanding" of the religion of islam.

3. Whomever Allah loves, he deviates them and their heart from disobedience and sins.

Think about it Allah loves you more then 100 mothers Obey ALLAH Its not too late turn to Allah HE IS NEVER FAR AWAY beg HIM for your forgiveness ( Offer Namaz five times a day )

" Jo sajdon mein jhuk k rota hai usko kisi aur k samne jhukna nahi parta kabhi rona nahi parta " :)

"Weep for yourself, before you are wept for!"

"One of you should consider that death has come to him,& that he asked Allah for respite & He gave him respite. So let him use this time working in Allah's obedience."

Sell your current life for your latter life -& you will win both. Do not sell your akhirah for this life, for you will lose them both

Nicest Person...

If someone does bad to you, be patient.

If someone harms you, be forgiving.

If someone behaves ignorantly, be forbearing.

If someone deals harshly, be gentle.

If someone withholds from you, be generous.

If someone wrongs you, be just.

If someone argues with you, be silent.

If someone opposes you, be well wishing.

If someone defects you, be optimistic.

If someone accuses you, be honest.

If someone proves you wrong, be humble.

If someone makes a mistake, be merciful.

"Not equal is the good response and the bad response. You shall resort to the nicest possible response..." [Quran 41:34]

Thus, the one who used to be your enemy, may become your best friend" [Quran 41:34]

Ajab Muhabbat...

Raat Din Hijr Ki Wehshat Bhi Nahi Rakhni Hai,

Kisi say Ab itni Muhabbat Bhi Nahi Rakhni Hai,

Jis ka Jee Chaahay Humain Tor kay Tukray Karday,

Is Qadr Narm Tabee'at Bhi Nahi Rakhni Hai,

Aik Do Saal kay Rishton Say Humain Kia Haasil,

Aik Do Pal ki Rafaaqat Bhi Nahi Rakhni Hai,

Jin say Bichrain Tou Sambhalnay Mein Zamaanay Lag Jaayen,

Aisay Logon Say Mura'wat Bhi Nahi Rakhni Hai,

Kia ajab Haal Hai Chaahat kay TalabGaaroN ka,

ShauQ Biknay ka Hai, Qeemat Bhi Nahi Rakhni Hai...

Beauty of Hijab...

You look at me and call me oppressed,
Simply because of the way I’m dressed,
You know me not for what’s inside,
You judge the clothing I wear with pride,
My body’s not for your eyes to hold,
You must speak to my mind, not my feminine mold,
I’m an individual, I’m no mans slave,
It’s Allah’s pleasure that I only crave,
I have a voice so I will be heard,
For in my heart I carry His word,
“O ye women, wrap close your cloak,

So you won’t be bothered by ignorant folk”,
Man doesn’t tell me to dress this way, It’s a Law from God that I obey,

Oppressed is something I’m truly NOT,
For liberation is what I’ve got,
It was given to me many years ago,
With the right to prosper, the right to grow,
I can climb mountains or cross the seas,
Expand my mind in all degrees,
For God Himself gave us LIB-ER-TY,
When He sent Islam,
To You and Me!

Beautiful Story (2)...The Ethiopian Slave

Abdullah bin Mubarak relates, “‘Once while I was in Makkah, we were struck with a severe drought. It had not rained for weeks and all the people gathered in Masjid al-Haram to pray for rain. I was also amongst them sitting next to the gate of Banu Saiba. An Ethiopian slave wearing tatty garments came and sat in front of me. I could hear him praying, “Oh Allah, bad deeds and sinning have frayed the faces and you have stopped showering us with your mercy to teach mankind a lesson. I ask you Oh Haleem, Oh Raheem, Oh One whose people know nothing except good. Send rain unto us this moment”. He prayed until the clouds appeared and it rained.
When he left I followed him to find out his whereabouts. On returning home I went to see Fudail bin Ayaz who asked me why I was depressed. I related the incident, he then insisted that I take him to this Young man. “It is late, let me find out more about him”‘ I told him.

After Fajr, I went to see the slave and found an old man sitting at his door. On seeing him he recognised me. He welcomed me and then asked about my need. “I need a black slave”, I asked. He replied, “I have many, take anyone you like”. He kept on calling the slaves one by one and I refused until he fnally called out the one I was looking for. He then refused to sell this slave on the grounds that his presence brought many blessings. When I said, “Shall I return to sufyan Ath-Thari and Fudail bin Ayaz empty handed?” He accepted and said, your coming was a big thing. Pay the price you like and take him” I purchased the slave, and headed towards Fudail’s house.
On the way he asked, “Why did you not Purchase a slave stronger than me I am weak and cannot serve you . My master showed you many that were stronger. I said, ”By Allah, I am going to serve you, buy you a house and marry You off,” He began to cry. I asked, “What makes you cry?” He said, “The only reason you are going to treat me like this is because you have seen my connection with my Lord “.

He then asked if I could wait for him as he had some Rakats left over from last night. I informed him that Fudail’s house is close from here, but he insisted, ”It is not good to delay the work of Allah”. He entered the Masjid and prayed. When he finished he asked me, ”Oh Abu Abdur Rahman, do you have a need?” I said ”Why do you ask?” He replied, ”To the Hereafter”. He then said, Life was good when the secret was between my Lord and I. Now you know and then someone else will come to know.  Now I am no longer in need of this life.” He fell down and began to say ”Oh Allah take me now.” I came close to him and found him still. He had passed away.

Beautiful Story (1)...Starfish

Once a man was walking along a beach. The sun was shining and it was a beautiful day. Off in the distance he could see a person going back and forth between the surf’s edge and the beach. Back and forth this person went. As the man approached, he could see that there were hundreds of starfish stranded on the sand. There had been a storm and as the result of the storm they had been thrown onto shore.

The man was struck by the apparent futility of the task. There were far too many starfish. Many of them were sure to perish. As he approached, the person continued the task of picking up starfish one by one and throwing them into the surf.

As he came up to the person, he said: “You must be crazy. There are thousands of miles of beach covered with starfish. You can’t possibly make a difference.” The person looked at the man for a moment. He then stooped down and pick up one more starfish and threw it back into the ocean. He turned back to the man and said: “To THAT one, it made a difference.”

Moral:
Small Things can make big changes/impact. A little good goes a long way.

Duas for Protection...

There are du’aa’s which have been narrated in saheeh ahaadeeth which are sufficient, and we have no need for the du’aa’s narrated in weak reports. These du’aa’s protect the Muslim, and the Prophet (peace and blessings of Allaah be upon him) always used to recite them, such as the dhikrs for morning and evening, and other saheeh ahaadeeth. For example:

1 – Reciting the last two verses of Soorat al-Baqarah every night. It was narrated that Abu Mas’ood al-Badri (may Allaah be pleased with him) said: The Messenger of Allaah (peace and blessings of Allaah be upon him) said: “The last two verses of Soorat al-Baqarah, whoever recites them at night, they will be sufficient for him.” Narrated by al-Bukhaari, 4008; Muslim, 807. al-Nawawi (may Allaah have mercy on him) said: “With regard to the words of the Prophet (peace and blessings of Allaah be upon him) ‘they will be sufficient for him,’ it was said that it means they will suffice instead of praying qiyaam al-layl; and it was said, they will suffice him against the Shaytaan, or against harm. It may be understood as meaning all of these things.’”
2 – Du’aa’ al-karb (prayer at times of stress). It was narrated from Ibn ‘Abbaas that the Messenger of Allaah (peace and blessings of Allaah be upon him) used to say at times of stress:
Laa ilaaha ill-Allaah ul-‘azeem al-haleem, laa ilaaha ill-Allaah Rabb il-‘arsh il’azeem, laa ilaaha ill-Allaah Rabb ul-samawaati wa rabb ul-ard wa rabb ul-‘arsh il-kareem (There is no god but Allaah, the Almighty, the Forbearing; there is no god but Allaah, Lord of the Mighty Throne; there is no god but Allaah, Lord of the heavens, Lord of the earth and Lord of the noble Throne).” Narrated by al-Bukhaari, 6346; Muslim, 2730.
Reciting Soorat al-Ikhlaas, Soorat al-Falaq and Soorat al-Naas. The Prophet (peace and blessings of Allaah be upon him) used to recite them when going to sleep, and he would blow into his hands and then wipe them over whatever he could reach of his body. It was narrated from ‘Aa’ishah that every night when the Prophet (peace and blessings of Allaah be upon him) went to bed, he would cup his hands together, blow into them then recite into them Qul Huwa Allaahu ahad, Qul a’oodhu bi Rabb il-falaq and Qul ‘aoodhu bi Rabb il-naas, then he would wipe as much as he could reach of his body, starting with his head and face and the front of his body. And he would do that three times. [Narrated by al-Bukhaari, 5018.]
And it was narrated that ‘Uqbah ibn ‘Aamir said: The Messenger of Allaah (peace and blessings of Allaah be upon him) said: “Have you not seen the verses that were revealed tonight, the like of which has never been seen? Qul a’oodhu bi Rabb il-falaq and Qul ‘aoodhu bi Rabb il-naas. Narrated by Muslim, 814.
And Allaah knows best.

Du’a And Its Relationship With Destiny..

The topic of du’a and its relationship to destiny ( qadr) is a very important one, and one around which much confusion exists. Many people ask: “If everything has already been destined to occur, then of what use is du’a, as, if Allah has written what I want, I will get it without making du'a and if it is not written for me, then I will never get it no matter how much du’a I make?”

The response to this question lies in understanding that the outcome of anything is dependent on the performance of the efforts that are necessary to procure it. In other words, it has already been decreed, for example, that a seed will give fruit if planted, but this will not occur unless the farmer takes the appropriate efforts in irrigating the crop, maintaining it, protecting the seedling as it grows, and ensuring as much as he can that the factors are amenable for the plant to give fruit.

So even though a person believes in the Divine Decree, he must at the same time strive all he can to ensure that the desired goal occurs. So du’a is the means that one uses to achieve the desired goal that one has, and this means in no way contradicts the destiny that has been written for that person.

This stance is clarified by the Prophet’s (SAWS) hadith reported by Thawban, that he (SAWS) said:

1 * “Nothing increases one’s life-span except good deeds, and nothing repels Divine Decree except dua. And verily, a person may be deprived of sustenance due to a sin that he does!”
Ibn Majah #90, and Shaykh al-Albani said in Sahih Ibn Majah (73): “It is authentic without the addition, ‘And verily...’; see al-Sahihah, # 154.” ]

In other words, the performance of good deeds is a cause of increasing one’s life span, so if a person puts in the necessary effort, the results will be achieved, and this is also destined. So both the means to achieve a goal, and the fulfilment of the goal itself, are already decreed.

2 * Salman al-Farsi narrated that the Prophet (SAWS) said:
“Nothing repels Divine Decree except du'a, and nothing increases one’s life-span except good deeds” [Authentic, reported by al-Tirmidhi and al-Hakim from Salman, and is in Sahih al-Jami’ # 7687.]

This hadith informs us in no uncertain terms that the only way that we can repel some Divine Decree is through the means of du'a. So it is possible that some unpleasant matter has been preordained for us, but only if we do not make du’a to avert it from us. So if du’a is made, then this matter will not occur or be fulfilled, whereas if du’a is left, the misfortune will occur.
